If you’re already familiar with our Incense Cones, you may notice we swapped out our previous tin jars for recyclable matchbox packaging instead, keeping sustainability in mind. However, you can rest assured that our Incense Cones are still made with the same fragrance formula you know and love!

Morning routines and marking the beginning of your work day.

Our incense cones are packed in custom-printed recyclable chipboard matchboxes inspired by California scenery.

Each cone burns for approximately 25 minutes, elevating a space with scent in under an hour. Depending on room size, scent longevity lasts between 2-4 hours.

Each box measures 5.25" in width and 3" in height, and contains 30 incense cones.

- Light the end of the incense cone at a slight angle with a lighter or match, and allow the flame to burn for approximately 10-15 seconds, enough to create a small flame.

- If the flame isn't allowed to burn long enough, it may extinguish before burning all the way through (about 25 mins).

- Blow on the flame to extinguish. The incense cone should produce a glowing red ember and a tendril of smoke, and will continue to burn on its own.

- Be sure to burn incense on a heatproof, non-flammable holder only. Please note that the bottom of the incense cone may leave a residual stain on ceramic holders while burning.

- Burn incense in a well-ventilated room, away from flammable materials, and never leave incense burning unattended or in near children, pets, or a draft.

Our charcoal-based incense cones are hand-dipped in-house using fine fragrance oils and dipropylene glycol (DPG), a synthetic base commonly found in body care and home fragrance products.

P.F. Candle Co. is a Los Angeles-based fragrance company owned and operated by wife-and-husband team Kristen Pumphrey and Thomas Neuberger. The P.F Candle Co. line is meant to make life smell better through candles, reed diffusers, room sprays, incense, and eau de parfum.

THEIR HISTORY

DIY GROWTH

P.F. Candle Co., born Pommes Frites, was founded by Kristen in 2008. She lost her job when the recession hit, and relocated to Austin with the dream of making things by hand to pay the bills. The P.F. Candle Co. signature amber jar line was launched in 2012 after hours spent on the craft fair circuit and another cross-country move. P.F. got its big break in 2013, when the line was picked up by West Elm following an Etsy pop-up. The demand from this big break inspired Tom to join the business full time, after years of behind-the-scenes help. Since 2013, P.F. has expanded from two people to a team of 31. From a studio apartment operation to globally recogniSed brand, P.F. is a completely bootstrapped enterprise. With no formal business degrees or experience, this company has been built by the spirit of grit, passion, DIY, with a huge help from our independent boutique partners and customers that have continued to support us along the way.
